You said correct you if you are wrong
I am correcting you because you are wrong yet again....
I have never compared a REL 1508 to anything...Magnolia does not carry that line
But that would have been obvious from a couple of my statements....
Yes..I do research, check stats and get my hands on as much as I can. I listen to professional reviews as well
I have said this same thing multiple times
No I did not listen to the Monolith(s) subwoofers before I purchased them
No I did not listen to the Monolith 7X amp before I purchased it
Read a lot of specs and read many professional reviews before I bought any of that
Clearly the demo is in your home after the purchase and with a full return policy
I have said the same thing multiple times
I have personally not seen a PB3000 at a Magnolia. I have seen a PB4000 on their showroom floor
I have said the same thing multiple times
Magnolia has other brands ..such as a another line of REL subwoofers( not sold online) that I have demoed
I have said this many times
I also have two other subwoofers , in my home, that I have purchased from Magnolia
I have said this many times
So now I have questions for you...VERY simple questions
1. How would you any idea of why Best Buy was still in business as you have suggested in other threads?
2. You do realize that there is a significant world of A/V not sold on the internet that is dealer only..correct?
3. When you stated you " came to you own conclusions" based on Best Buy/Magnolia selection and personnel ....what is your comparable store that has everything they do and more?
I say this because you made some comment about " most people" think the way you do
If that is the case I would love to see that survey of " most people"...and I clearly understand that the people that you have gotten that opinion from differ greatly from the people I know
Hmmm well if anyone cares they can click on your name and look back at your post in the monolith and SVS sub threads and see which models YOU said you compared the Monolith 12.
Sure no problem….
1. It's called an "opinion", as you always say "facts" has nothing to do with it.
2. Yes I do the difference between you and me is I get to "listen" to many of it.
Unless you want to consider "I listen to professional reviews" as listening! 🤣
3. Again never made a "conclusion" about BB/Magnolia, it's called an "opinion". Again as you say there aren't any "facts" in them.
No sure why you keep asking for "facts", admittedly knowing there aren't required 🤔
The "most people" comment was regarding you insinuating that people can go to their local BB/Magnolia to do "research" and "listen" to products they are considering and "comparing".
As YOU just pointed out when YOU researched the purchase of the Monolith 12 and comparing to comparable subs, you weren't able to "get my hands on" any of them at BB/Magnolia.
Sounds like you also fall under "most people" OPINION 😜
If I missed it by all means tells us which comparable sub(s) that you were comparing to the Monolith 12 did you "get my hands on" and LISTEN to before choosing?
I compared one of the REL models that was at Best Buy/Magnolia
AGAIN...I have other subs in my home that I have also purchased at Best Buy/magnolia
I have one of them in the same room currently as the two Monolith subs
I know I have posted that MULTIPLE times
1. It's called an "opinion", as you always say "facts" has nothing to do with it.
Unless you want to consider "I listen to professional reviews" as listening! 🤣
Clearly everything wasnt available easily for that., with no showroom etc
So I bought items...with the case of the Monolith subs and amp with the idea that if I didnt like it then it would be returned
As for reviews I absolutely look at those as well
Why would I not use all the information available?
Again..I have stated this MANY times
No sure why you keep asking for "facts", admittedly knowing there aren't required 🤔
The "most people" comment was regarding you insinuating that people can go to their local BB/Magnolia to do "research" and "listen" to products they are considering and "comparing".
To your question...yes I agree opinions dont require facts
In your case I would say they never have facts associated with them
What reason would stop " most people" from going to their local Best Buy/Magnolia and demoing product?
Clearly for the non internet brands you have to go do a dealer showroom any way for purchase
Sounds like you also fall under "most people" OPINION 😜
If I missed it by all means tells us which comparable sub(s) that you were comparing to the Monolith 12 did you "get my hands on" and LISTEN to before choosing?
I have stated that a few times......I stated several times that there was a REL product that I looked at there
These was also am amp I looked at there
In both cases I bought the Monolith products
I have stated that MULTIPLE times
You do realize that when you throw in the " most people "description when its just frankly YOUR opinion,it seems unhinged...right?
Specific examples include....
" Most people" know the only reason Best Buy/Magnolia is still in business....
" Most people" dont think Best Buy/Magnolia personnel are knowledgeable
" Most people " dont think Best Buy /Magnolia has a good selection
I guess I am trying to get my hands around this " most people" with a $52 billion dollar retailer. Largest A/V retailer in the United States by a LONG shot
I bought 2 and so far they work fine. Is there better at a better price? Some times it comes down to each their own.
Your room is quite large and it's going to take a lot to pressurize your room to feel it.
You'll likely want to go ported rather than sealed. Bass heads will probably recommend 4 subwoofers for your room.

Well at least you dont have to add it to cart of have a promo code this time...so you could probably price match to Amazon
That may make it a better deal for some people
Nobody can buy 10 different subs and trial them out in their space, so subjectivity is out of the equation.
People here want bang for their buck. I have not heard these subs personally, but from raving reviews, I'd say this is a screaming deal. I personally own 3 klipsch r-115sw and am considering this upgrade.
