I would like to track my car without an annual fee.
Is there a product?
Ones I have seen use 4G - so likely it has an annual fee.
GPS alone should do for me and then I can see it online somewhere?
Any out there?

I might use it in lieu of a car alarm!
Would a spare phone hidden in the car do the job too - but it needs a plan?

You are right, so many of them are 4G and require service. We use Trakkit GPS, it had to be installed (we were able to do it as two people who no nothing about cars using a You Tube video). It was expensive out of the gate (I think we paid $180 when we first got it), but there is no monthly fee of any kind. It also cannot be removed as easy as those smaller devices.

Their company website was what really helped us make up our mind, it's completely thorough and tells you what you need or don't need to protect your vehicle. https://trakkitgps.com/gps-tracker-for-car/

We also were able to save money on our auto insurance once it was installed $45/savings a year when we proved it was installed properly.

This is a nice find! I searched a lot.
So it used WiFi - so if you are in the middle of nowhere - will it work?
How long they will stay in biz?

Our Navigation system works without internet - in the Navigation map, it tells where the car is. Why can not make one that does not need internet to work?
