Ive been running this since april and have a very small amount of frost in the freezer. I open it one time a week and its in a dehumidified basement so I would guess that helps. I am seriously considering another one, Convenient size. Format (upright/chest) is personal opinion, but I find the convenience of upright outweighs the small efficiency advantage of the chest, at least for me.
I have a thermometer in the freezer, and on the medium setting, it runs about -5 F in case anyone is interested. It is more consistent temp then my $2000 LG fridge/freezer.

Any feedback on it besides the shipping? I assume it's not frost free? I've always wanted one but don't need a huge one and this fits the budget, but wasn't sure if this is one you buy and give it away in a few months to buy a better one.

If it can be believed, energy guide sticker says 331. I didn't notice a difference in my electricity bill

shouldn't buy it. most reviews said damaged during shipping but the root cause is because skin was made of cheap material and very thin. I got one by in-store buy from Walmart couple months ago, it was serious damaging even no damaging on the box.

I have been holding many times but my wife keeps pushing me for the upright freezer. Bought it and fingers cross. Hopefully, no damage otherwise it will be crazy to return.

i had same positive experience as the guy above.. I could not be happier .. I have cheap govee thermometer in it and can literally view the history of every minute of every day for the past year.. It holds 0 degrees perfectly.. better than my whirlpool inside the house.. (this is for my utility room). However it came with a few dings.. looks like was hit with a small ball peen hammer.. I called walmart and they happily offered return label and or an instant 20 percent refund.. I opted for the refund even though the ding is on the front and center of the door.. because it is in the utility room noone ever sees it.
