It's really out of stock .. its not like lenovo is selling the rtx 3070 on there website and just pushing back on our orders ..3070 is not available to purchase on lenovo site. so just relax and let it play its part .

I am even looking at upgrade options. It looks like the L5 17" has a 500GB M.2 2242 boot drive. I look at upgrading it to 1TB. There are not many good 1TB pcie M.2 2242 out there.

This will look stupid if the order is cancelled. Smilie

Yes. In fact, I cannot find any L5 Pro anywhere at all. Website, Walmart, third-party sellers, Newegg, all out of stock. Lenovo is having a really hard time fulfilling the demand across the market.

So reading this.... can I be relieved that I ordered the regular Legion 5 model? Or do you think it is 3070 Lenovo machines in general.

Difficult to say. regular Legion 5 may enjoy a small advantage because it's not as hyped. However, IMO 3070 is a key factor. Nvidia allocates only a bunch of chips to the manufacturers, which has decreased due to the shortage. As a result, lots of 3070 laptops are often out of stock rn.
