I just bought this laptop from Best Buy and it's not hitting any of the benchmarks. The first night it was fine, now the graphics card and processor are under performing. It was trying to use the discrete graphics card to game and so I fixed the setting, but the other issues are still persisting. Disappointing because I wanted to love this laptop.

Lol oh man here comes the chromebook crowd. If your use case is satisfied by a chromebook then you certainly don't need this. It is out of your league.

I just bought this laptop from Best Buy and it's not hitting any of the benchmarks. The first night it was fine, now the graphics card and processor are under performing. It was trying to use the discrete graphics card to game and so I fixed the setting, but the other issues are still persisting. Disappointing because I wanted to love this laptop.

Just looked up that processor, it's not all that much more powerful than the 4800h of last generation. Not sure how slick this price is unless that 3050ti crushes rtx 2060 or the 5600m

There's a lot of discussion on Reddit to adjust settings for the G14 from last year. It helped with throttling which may be what's going on with yours.
