I just bought this laptop from Best Buy and it's not hitting any of the benchmarks. The first night it was fine, now the graphics card and processor are under performing. It was trying to use the discrete graphics card to game and so I fixed the setting, but the other issues are still persisting. Disappointing because I wanted to love this laptop.

That weighs 6.6 pounds. Might as well have a desktop on your lap.

Lol oh man here comes the chromebook crowd. If your use case is satisfied by a chromebook then you certainly don't need this. It is out of your league.

Why buy this when you can get the 15.6 with much better specs?
3 reasons why I would buy this over 15.6
  1. 2-in-1 Factor
  2. Touch Screen
  3. Weight/Portability

Ugh this is disappointing. I'm expecting 1070 graphics speeds. Mine comes in tomorrow. I told myself I wouldn't get another Lenovo after 3 Yoga failures, but the Legion 5 from Microcenter with the high wattage 3060 is calling to me. I just hate the size/weight.

This laptop is stupid. The screen is too cramped and gpu too weak for modern gaming at 1080p. It makes WAY more sense to buy up to the G14 or Acer 300 SE with a bigger screen and much better gpu. Yes, you add half a pound, but it's like having big balls...you don't mind the extra weight. It is too bad that the G14 and 300 SE don't have 16:10 screens but they're still the far better choice.

It's because you are suppose to buy the 3080 eGPU for AAA gaming. Everything else this can do fine.

Exactly...this is fine. Who wants to spend $1350 on fine? That's a lot of money and it should yield a great gaming laptop.

For $1k this would be great. But it ain't $1k and won't be for a long time.

From reviews this sounds like a productivity laptop first and gaming secondary. Of course you wouldn't buy this if gaming is the main purpose. Plenty of people want a light and small laptop so this is a great choice for them.

This would be a great size for airplanes, I find even my 14" Latitude a little big. My wife would probably like this.

Hit it on the head. Most people getting this either get the dock or have a desktop. Want something for work/school that can play a game or two. Thing is a beast for the size. It is similar footprint to my spectre x360 13 with 8650u.

What even is the market for this?

Pretty crappy for gaming, but then you don't game on 13", right… Processor is a beast and the Vega prob beats the 3050ti 😂 (JK 🤔)

School? Content creation? Light gaming?

Idiots on this thread saying there are better deals then posting 6 pound laptops need to just go buy a desktop at that point.

Obviously the XPS 13. This is kind of a silly size for a gaming laptop. The screen is hilariously tiny and the amount of space for thermals belies the small form factor. It's one of those "we did it because it was possible, not because we should."

If you want a gaming PC, step up to 15 or 17"
I tried out the last gen xps 13 and the keyboard was terrible. I was shocked how little travel before I bottomed out in a terrible feedback.
