This seems like a good deal on a huge TV. I can't find much info on this model and how it might compare to the UN8570 (that has been as low as $1300 recently) so I'm hoping to spur some conversation with this thread. Is it the Costco version of the NANO90? Is it significantly better that the UN8570 that's on their website right now?
I have been looking for something "decent" in the 82/85/86 range (for under $1500) for a few months but with all the shipping challenges it's been tough (first world problems )
I do realize that this in no OLED , mini LED etc. but any information on this has been difficult to come by
Seems like its a VA panel ? (since the LG website says "Real 4K Display" missing the word IPS which they put in with other models). Is there a way to know for sure ?
Also, is there a way to know the brightness for this ? (this is what happens when the model info is not on rtings )
I did check on the costco website that it has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports
Any buyers/users want to share their experiences from the last time (August) it was available on Costco ?
It will be available for ordering again on Nov 1 - Nov 14 for 1399.99
Can the Allstate bundle be added on? Wondering if it's even worth it to purchase that additional warranty. I also have the citi card which gets an additional 2 years?
Edit: it does include the Allstate bundle. Just bought it. I'm just an average TV watcher so all these features that everyone is talking about is more than what I pay attention to. I don't game either and just wanted a nice big tv that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. This will go nicely in my living room. Already have the spot on the wall taped out for it.
