Other than an overhead light that every car has being brighter (by placement/design) these indeed can be turned off or on and check this out - can be dimmed or brightened.
There is literally nothing you can say that is helpful for anyone wanting to buy one. You just sound like folks that are in the wrong place.
They could even be used as a single orange/yellow tint to help visibility just like the overhead light every car has. a very practical use case.... never thought of that huh?
These discussions are missing the point. Regardless of brightness, the final look can clearly be described as trashy.
Well then people are trashy... this being a Front Page deal and all.
Thanks for your unpopular opinion... uh, bye.
But if I'd be installing this myself then I'd opt for a slow install, and hopefully a secure one that is tastefully done with more custom diffusers or adding some fiber optic lines to show the lines inside the car.
Auto Zone has Islands now ?
In fast and furious world - about 150hp.
I'm just curious how long it holds up. I bought one set on Amazon and it started to lose adhesive after 4 weeks

Only complaints:
1) RGB = no pure white
2) sometimes forgets the last setting it was on, so when the doors open, it's a RGB strobe light party instead of classy footwell lighting
At this price I'm tempted to try again in case I got a dodgy unit last time
