Saw the Philips USB-C 30W Power Delivery AC wall charger on clearance at the local Target in the USB accessory aisle. This charger is USB-IF certified and should be enough to fast charge a number of phones, tablets, and even some lower-power laptops(!). No charging cable is included.

The official Target listing page:

Search for local inventory:

Best,

Thanks for the deal. Gave TU.
I wonder if single plug USB-C is useful since that's where everything is going. Should we be getting by with what we have and wait for multi-port USB-C blocks like what is available now with USB-A?
Just a thought, not bashing this deal. If you need it, it's a great price.

I don't think this is USB-IF certified (see attachment)? Also do you know what the output voltages are? Is this 15V/2A or 20V/1.5A?

EDIT: Nvm, the logo is the official USB-IF logo, even if it's not listed on their site. I don't think Philips would counterfeit or use a fake/similar logo.

Per the USB product registration page [usb.org] (one of the benefits of USB-IF certification) the charger supports 5V, 9V, 15V, and 20V as well as PPS (Programmable Power Supply) at 9V and 15V. That latter feature is less common on lower cost chargers, and ensures that you can get the maximum high-speed charging with newer devices like the S21.

Good luck!

Generally multi-port solutions built around USB-C are going to be more complex (i.e. - expensive) than traditional USB-A as they manage total power draw differently. What you may often see is that a multi-port USB-C charger rated for a given total output power will significantly down-rate per-port max power as additional ports are connected. Alternately, the charger will include a single port rated for a specific minimum output whereas other ports may adjust depending upon load. The latter is more important for configurations supporting a laptop (so 30W or more).

The best option when seeking a multi-port solution, particularly for travel scenarios, is to buy something targeted to your specific needs. Even the 30W of this charger is more than most would need for the average phone. Of course, at this price...

Good luck!

Neither the S21 nor the new iPhone 12 series ship with a wall charger.

Good luck!
