The insert is stainless steel and has insulated handles that lock the insert so it doesn't spin. Different pressure release, more programmable options.

Has sous vide, nicer pot, and a nicer screen/UI. I've heard the sous vide on these isn't as good as a stand alone unit like an Anova or Joule though. The 6 qt Duo goes on sale often for $60-70 so if you don't need the sous vide function this probably isn't worth the extra $.
My stove top pressure cooker just broke and I have been looking into what to get as a replacement.
This is more accurate with every mode. The high pressure setting is between ten and twelve psi while all the other models are between nine and twelve psi. Which means you should never open it up and need more time.
You can also take the insert out and use it on the stove which is the main reason I have always used a stovetop model. Sear with much more heat than you can get on the instant pot then throw it back into the machine to finish.
The other modes are supposed to be more accurate as well which is good particularly if you use the slow cooker mode. I probably won't use any other mode than pressure cooking.
This is one of the best options around and I will probably pull the trigger with this sale. I don't want to go four months without a pressure cooker to save $15. If I didn't get this I would get the Breville or the Kuhn Rikon stovetop which are both $250.
Would like to know too. Looks like it does sous vide, which isn't available in the basic model
Heavy duty flat bottom inner pot with silicon insulated handles that also works on all stoves including induction is no small upgrade for me, the new style lid with steam valve that sets quickly, close to zero steam escaping during cooking, better temperature control.
Pro is basically an upgraded Duo Evo Plus. Watch Indigo Nili's comparison on Y-tube.
Having tested them all D-E-P is the one most people will prefer imo. D-E-P was $70 last BF. I got a second one from Amazon as "used acceptable" which arrived looking brand new for $54. I can't recommend D-E-P enough especially if you own or will purchase a portable induction. I always begin on a Nuwave Titanium PIC then transfer to I.P. It's way faster, does better saute and you can then place the I.P. anywhere with no need for a vent.
Duo Evo Plus and Ultra are my favorites. Pro replaced Duo Evo Plus. Duo Plus with sous vide is another favorite. There's nothing wrong with Duo, but I wanted portable sous vide for travel and to save me having to drag out the immersion circulator and tank for some noncritical food.

This may be sweet if you happen to be a Kohl's shopper and have Kohl's Cash laying around, plus you can earn, too.
