That was a good deal if you can use those big batteries, but where can you get a M18 2ah battery for $20 or a 5ah battery for $50?

fine, but that's like buying in bulk with those battery sizes.
it doesn't scale down to smaller sizes to mean that you can get a 5.0 for $50 or 3.0 at $30.

Ok, paused on the order page for some time (spend money on tools or materials for xlights display. End up pulling the trigger for the combo (1/2" and 3/8") and battery pack for $408 (includes tax of 30 bucks). Had them in stock and supposed to be delivered tomorrow, Aug 4 to 92807.

So I can break it and buy another one??? I have seen some YT channels test the 3/8 up to 500lb/fts with no issues. True enough, can just get the 1/2 then just a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter, but that makes it just a bit longer and harder to fit into a tight space. Personally, I will use the 3/8 for prop building and light duty as I have more sockets in the 3/8 variety. Still, you have a good point though there are still some use cases it.

500 ft lbs would be impressive. I watched a youtube video on 3/8" breaker bars and they all broke under 300 ft lbs.
