$277.30 if you need the 3/8 & 1/2 M18 Fuel Mid Torque:
Milwaukee M18 FUEL GEN-2 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Mid Torque Brushless Cordless 3/8 in. and 1/2 in Impact Wrench (2-Tool)
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../314971519

M18 FUEL Gen-2 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Mid Torque 1/2 in. Impact Wrench w/Friction Ring (Tool-Only)

The Hack
The hack is simple. You buy a promo deal which you get a free tool or battery. There are different ways to do the hack. Pick up at the store, online, or a combination of both. You keep one of the items and the other item is subtracted automatically (if you did not pick it up) or return the item.

The Hack Example:
The M18 ($219) is the key to the hack. It is a promotional item. You have to select that in your cart. The battery ($139) is a free item. It shows you in the cart with the return value based on the zip code of the Home Depot (zip code example 43065) you select.

$133.97 + $85.03 = $219 plus your state sales tax. If you received it in the mail return the item to Home Depot and they will subtract the one you didn't want. If you didn't pick it up Home Depot will subtract the item after a certain time (they will let you know in the email). That is the Hack. Tool Boss on YouTube Channel can explain it better. I cannot provide the link due to the Slick Deals policy.

you don't. not from a retail store at least.
Plenty of deals meet that price point, there was a 12.0ah + 8.0ah deal for $199 at Home Depot. You have to be patient and know what's a good price on each item based on historical deals. Everyone can always pay more for a battery than that target, just make sure you don't pay full retail.

Thanks. Repped. Is that a historically low price or is a lower price possible?

Not sure where that $10 per ah "rule" ever came from, but I'm not seeing it for most of these power tool batteries.

That was a good deal if you can use those big batteries, but where can you get a M18 2ah battery for $20 or a 5ah battery for $50?

fine, but that's like buying in bulk with those battery sizes.
it doesn't scale down to smaller sizes to mean that you can get a 5.0 for $50 or 3.0 at $30.

Awesome! Didn't even have to cancel pickup. They didn't have it in store and just canceled it.

Ok, paused on the order page for some time (spend money on tools or materials for xlights display. End up pulling the trigger for the combo (1/2" and 3/8") and battery pack for $408 (includes tax of 30 bucks). Had them in stock and supposed to be delivered tomorrow, Aug 4 to 92807.

600 ft-lbs with a 3/8" anvil is completely pointless, why are people getting that.

So I can break it and buy another one??? I have seen some YT channels test the 3/8 up to 500lb/fts with no issues. True enough, can just get the 1/2 then just a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter, but that makes it just a bit longer and harder to fit into a tight space. Personally, I will use the 3/8 for prop building and light duty as I have more sockets in the 3/8 variety. Still, you have a good point though there are still some use cases it.

500 ft lbs would be impressive. I watched a youtube video on 3/8" breaker bars and they all broke under 300 ft lbs.
