$277.30 if you need the 3/8 & 1/2 M18 Fuel Mid Torque:

M18 FUEL Gen-2 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Mid Torque 1/2 in. Impact Wrench w/Friction Ring (Tool-Only)

The Hack
The hack is simple. You buy a promo deal which you get a free tool or battery. There are different ways to do the hack. Pick up at the store, online, or a combination of both. You keep one of the items and the other item is subtracted automatically (if you did not pick it up) or return the item.

The Hack Example:
The M18 ($219) is the key to the hack. It is a promotional item. You have to select that in your cart. The battery ($139) is a free item. It shows you in the cart with the return value based on the zip code of the Home Depot (zip code example 43065) you select.

$133.97 + $85.03 = $219 plus your state sales tax. If you received it in the mail return the item to Home Depot and they will subtract the one you didn't want. If you didn't pick it up Home Depot will subtract the item after a certain time (they will let you know in the email). That is the Hack. Tool Boss on YouTube Channel can explain it better. I cannot provide the link due to the Slick Deals policy.

The funny thing is you're just paying someone to use a coupon generator, which you can find online yourself.
Care to back up this statement with a link?

People are terrible... sorry it happened to you. I had to deal with burglary once and it's not even the items lost that matters but that someone went through your personal belongings. Most of the time its addicts that are looking for quick buck.
I appreciate it. Yes, it was quite sickening to see everything gone through and stuff missing.

Already ordered the similar Ridgid wrench that comes with battery and charger (with 3-year warranty and LSA on everything) for only about $25 more after tax, so I can't justify getting this one as well, though the temptation is there! All that is to say that I do not have personal experience with this tool.

However, I did come across some videos you may find useful:
This one [youtu.be] shows a guy's setup comparing Gen 1 and 2, with the 2 clocking in at about 628 ft-lbs with a fully charged 5Ah battery.
Here [youtube.com]'s a real-world test removing something that was torqued down at 650 ft-lbs.

Is your Craftsman battery-powered?
Yes, it's a C3, LiOn-powered. It's a decent tool, just not enough for the toughest tasks.

This is good if you already have the battery or already have other tools in the platform, otherwise what the heck LOL if I have the impact wrench for $134 then what, how do I use without battery????

I wish I could get this combo: https://slickdeals.net/f/15200974-milwaukee-m12-fuel-12-volt-lithium-ion-brushless-cordless-1-4-in-hex-impact-driver-kit-w-m12-3-8-in-ratchet-2553-22-2457-20-the-home-depot-169?src=frontpage

and do the hack to get the M12 Stubby 1/2 in. Impact Wrench Tool only for cheap like $100 or so...: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa...39#overlay

I am looking to get 1/2 in Impact Wrench and a impact driver with battery, charger for around $200...

Yeah, some of us are already have Milwaukee tools already from the previous deals. I got the Fuel Surge Impact Driver a few months ago for $199 with XC 5.0 and CP 2.0 battery with charger promotional deal. The tool itself goes for $150 so $50 more and you get an even better deal with two batteries. The set with batteries without the promotional deal is closer to $300 so this is a good buy.

I went with a different impact deal cause I work on my own car.

Thanks again. This tool is impressive. Loosened lugnuts, axle nut, and caliper bracket bolts on 2012 suburban.

I'm pretty sure "the hack" will still work in store. I did it today with the grinder, which is the same deal as this.
