While in chat:
1) confirm with the rep that the sim card you bought has the proper minutes/texts/data
2) confirm with the rep what your existing account has for minutes/texts/data
3) ask the rep to add your new sim card stats to your existing account
4) while still in chat, make sure that everything was added correctly (can take a few minutes to update) ask the rep for the totals so that it's on the transcript
5) get the chat transcript and save it
This way if there's any question at all, you have the transcript to prove what you should have.

Do they have good deals for adding another 2 or 3GB of data to the phone as needed? Or am I better off just buying a 2nd card?(which comes with 3gb of data) I don't care what number is on the phone....

I did try to fight with Tracfone over rewards that should have been issued on a different account for adding a line and got nowhere. So now I am just trying to win points back on the Spin-the-Wheel.

Yes, you can activate with a referral and get up to 8k points
Yes, you can add this to your existing TracFone account and get 7k points as new line
Yes, you can add this to your existing TracFone service, though that's a bit more complicated as you have to activate the service with a transfer of existing service. On VZW service it's a bit complicated as you need to have a 'spare' IMEI to activate to, and most people recommend using chat to confirm your existing balances, the new SIM balance, and the combination (which would all go onto the new SIM)
