Can we just skip to V50 already so maybe they will have a battery that lasts longer than 6 minutes? Yes battery can last up to 60 minutes on a lower power mode... But I don't understand why wouldn't you want to use the highest setting all the time? It seems like, do you want to half ass clean, or do it well? I guess you can clean 1 room at a time in 6 minutes maybe. I'm still good with my corded vacuum until they make these better.

The highest setting is for carpet/rugs. It's not needed for tile/hardwood which the low setting does good on. The bigger the battery the more it'll weigh and your wrist will start to hurt after 5 mins. It would be better if they do what tineco does and have swappable batteries though.

I have the Dyson Animal V7. I really like it, but the charge doesn't last very long for me. Does anyone know how the v10 compares to the v7? Also, how does the v10 do with cat hair?

Hard floor head is a must have in my opinion, which goes for $70-100. So I do not think this is a slick deal for a previous generation model (I think V10 is lighter than v11 though)
