I've been waiting for a deal on these again to expand my Plex Server, but at $249 it's still too rich for me. I'll wait until things level back out and these are available for $179 again.

Won't bite at this price since I don't need it just yet. Good to see the prices are coming down again at least.

I bought a synology nas from Amazon and now that I did that, I can't find good hard drive deals to save my life

Not unless I was desperate for a drive, this price sucks.

Funny that they even make you put in a magical code for this crap deal.

Don't these have APM that you can't turnoff??? (Yes I've checked bios settings and 3rd party utilities to disable it and the drive still parks).

Da hell. I'm glad I bought quite a few back then as well.

Not a good deal. 14TB for $190 pre-tax is where most us would bite.

I skipped the recent Synology deals on Amazon specifically because I didn't already have drives I could install (and I imagined we'd have a good while before the market calmed).

I look forward to when I can set up an automated backup for my existing NAS.

This deal might be functional if you absolutely need the drive today, but if you can hold out be aware this sure isn't slick.

Good luck!

That's part of the joke about these USB drive listings: most of the interested buyers are focused on shucking them for what's inside. If there weren't already good online resources, this is almost a necessary part of such deal listings.

Good luck!

Wow, $250 for a drive that was often on sale for $200 or less?

14TB for sub $200 or bust! Thankfully I have a couple of those 14TBs new waiting around to replace bad drives.
