$50 is a great price, the case is great, the mail in rebate, not so much!

I found out that companies are doing mail-in rebates because it's such a time-consuming process that most buyers would just not do it. Most people said it even takes them 3-4 months to give you the prepaid card

Depends what games you play but if you play today's most popular battle royales or FPS for example, you can't even come close w/ that budget unfortunately.

I got this case in white for a similar price a month ago. Fantastic case, very roomy, great airflow, etc.

Great case. My only complaint is that the black version has a dark tinted glass side panel, whereas the white has a clear glass. AFAICT there is no way to get the clear glass with the black model, and since the panel itself has a color-matched bezel you can't just swap the side from the white car onto the black.

that's quite a tight budget in this market. you might get a few recommendations/suggestions, but mine is this:

i3-10100f - $110
mobo - $60-80
8gb memory (2x4) - $45
500gb ssd - $55
psu - $30-50 (find a decent one on slickdeals)

not including GPU or Win10, that's already $350-390 including this case. you'll most likely have to go used in order to fit that budget (and actually be able to play some games).

another option is to find a used OEM desktop (dell, hp) using 3rd or 4th gen i7 that also still uses standard ATX connectors (hopefully around $200) and use that as a starting point.

Cool thanks.. Actually I was thinking I don't need a gaming system, but a system which can run ThinkorSwim..

i'm not too familiar with that software, but based on quick research, seems like you just need a potato as a casual user to at most a moderate pc for a power user. i wouldn't be too concerned with specs at that point as long as you're not using a 10 year old pc. i'm reading that most of the lag experienced comes from the poorly written program, not the hardware.
