Game Description:
- 5 years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

I don't vehemently hate the second like the maniacs do, but I didn't enjoy the storyline at all. I guess as a result of that, I was dragging myself to get through it, which felt way, way too long. The cycle of gameplay really wore thin for me by the end.
I get what they were trying to do, but it just didn't work for me. YYMV

My theory is that they will replace the character models with the actors from the upcoming TLOU HBO series.

I don't like to keep a backlog, so buy games only when I am certain to start playing them in next 2 weeks.
As a result, many times it is about deciding which one to buy among a few available ones.
TLOU2, Doom Eternal and Hitman 3 were in my consideration since this Early Apr(once I finished RDR2).
I have played earlier versions of these games, and based on their playthrough, held off on buying TLOU2 only due to lacking replayability.
I played TLOU1 two times, Doom 2016 four times and Hitman2 had tons of replayability, extra content.
Bought Doom Eternal back in April as first choice and likely Hitman 3 will get my nod ahead of TLOU2 this time.
I think I will wait longer for it to come down to $10 or become PS plus free game. I own other games to keep me occupied till then.
There are some aspects of the gameplay I did not like(I've been a pc gamer for quite some time), but they did not ruin the game for me.
for $20 I would happily recommend this game.
The protagonist is lesbian? That was inferred from the first game DLC.
Or because there is an athletic female character? I guess that makes MMA and Olympics woke too
