I just had a sectional delivered from Costco and it wasn't the best experience. I purchased the sectional on July 5th as part of their 4th of July sale. Shipping started, and it got to a local logistics center. I received an automated call to let me know it would be delivered in a couple hour window on X day. The delivery process is setup so you never speak to an actual human being, which comes into play later. The delivery window passes with nothing, then the delivery day ends. I call Costco support, they tell me I need to contact their logistics service provider so I do. The hold time to talk to the service provider is 2hrs on the phone, they don't offer call-back. So I hang in there, and the system hangs up on me when the representative presumably is answering the phone 2 hours in. I call back Costco support, they tell me they can't do anything but they suggest I get up at 5AM since the wait times are shorter at the start of the support hours. So, I get up at 5AM... and the wait time is still an hour. I eventually get ahold of someone and they reschedule my delivery and the soonest they can do that is over a week out. So I wait, get the automated system call that I have a delivery window... and the day goes by with no sectional again. So I'm up at 5AM for support, waiting an hour on hold again, and am able to speak to the most concerned representative I've had so far. He reaches out to the warehouse teams directly. I hear back, apparently my sofa is lost. How they lose a sectional that size isn't a question I got an answer to. The concerned logisticss representative did help me to connect to Costco support and had them order me a new sectional for delivery the following week. He was very apologetic and offered that Costco would make all this hassle right after I finally get the sofa by crediting back funds from the purchase price for the extensive inconvenience. Fast forward a week, a month after the original order, and I get the automated call that I have a delivery window here in August. We have just moved into a new home, and this sectional was for a room for guests which we had a few of, including my mom, and there was a big nothing where the sectional was supposed to be. Fortunately, the reordered sofa was not lost and arrived with a delivery team to get it into place. Yay! I did call in afterwards as I was told and asked about that offered refund for my troubles. The rep I got this time was borderline rude, as if I was in the wrong for calling, and repeatedly said "you got the sofa" as if there was no issue with the month delay, many hours I spent listening to their lovely hold muzak, plans I built into my schedule to receive this huge thing on the days it didn't arrive etc. After grudgingly talking to a supervisor, I was credited back $100 for my difficulty. Personally I felt like the issue was trivialized by this, but I wasn't about to spend another hour on this sectional at this point and just said thank you and called it done. I know my experience was an outlier, and I'm a huge Costco fan in general, but I would be hesitant to order large furniture through them again. I've bought several large furniture pieces through them, most without issue, but the chance of this happening... no thanks. Ideally, I'd find a piece in-store I wanted and hire local movers to get it home. That way Costco Logisitics is out of the equation.

I've owned this sectional for about 9 months now and it is absolutely fantastic. My favorite piece of furniture in the house, hands down. We have 2 dogs as well, and both use it frequently... for naps and as a trampoline after a nice sprint down the hallway and it has suffered 0 puncture marks or tears in the fabric. At $1,000 it's an absolute steal.

I also have this sectional, bought it four years ago from Costco for $1600. Mine is grey micro suede. It's a great deal at $1600, super deal for $1000. A couple notes:

You can reconfigure it however you want, every piece can connect to every other piece

There is power to the storage cubby, including usb

A friend of mine has this and it's pretty comfortable. The center area where it curves doesn't seem like a natural sitting area for people but they threw a quilt on there and it's where the dog sits now. Curious if this is the lowest price ever..

Possible to change delivery after ordering? I am moving into a new house on 9/16. I am not a costco member at all but it seems membership is worth it over paying 5% surcharge.

We have 2 dogs as well, and both use it frequently... for naps and as a trampoline after a nice sprint down the hallway and it has suffered 0 puncture marks or tears in the fabric. At $1,000 it's an absolute steal.

Did you have a problem with delivery and was there a chemical smell afterwards that lingered on for a while? Those seems to be the main complaints

Also why is this one $1500 more?

Most credit cards now will approve you fairly fast and email you your card number for online use while you wait for the physical card to show up. Depends on the card, but all 9 CC's I have did this.

is it really fabric or faux leather/vinyl? the material doesnt look fabric at all. how much did you pay for it?

color is different too. i need the gray one like that power sofa. but OP comes with only brown color.
