Tab S7+ is $200. That is highway robbery.

Edit: I was looking at is as a second device trade in.

The only things that bother me are the no sd card & pen not integrated.

When I bought my Notes' I wanted the largest screen I could get, a pen & a great ecosystem; which Samsung did that for me. I expect heavy and thick when I purchase these types of phones. The battery hopefully is up to the task.

Really disappointed about the S-Pen integration, but maybe the case will be a good thing?
I could never stand for a folio case. Taking a picture, making a call or mounting to the car is a real pain (especially on a rental car or a bike which does not have carplay). I ordered a standalone s-pen instead.

Doubt many are upgrading unless they want a foldable specifically. The processor and camera are just minor upgrades to justify another 1000.
Camera is actually worse comparing with NOTE 20 ULTRA.

I have had a Note since the beginning and have a Note 20 Ultra now. Very disappointed with Samsung's new replacement for the Note. I can't see buying a $1700 phone that is heavier, thicker, has a small battery, inferior cameras, no external sd card, and a separate pen you have to pay for. $700 for a bigger screen and fewer features is a big no thank you for me.
I skipped the Note 20 to wait for this year's. Very disappointed. They removed the note and pushed this fold on us too quickly, I could see myself using one in the future but the tech isn't there for me yet. I don't want the fold to fail but I do hope the note line comes back. Now I have to decide if I want to push another year out of my 10+ and hope for a new note next year or find a note 20 ultra to upgrade to.

Coming from an LG G8 I feel the next noticeable/worthwhile smartphone upgrade would be 120hz and 5g. After that it be a foldable phone.

the big advantage to clamshell phone was not to need cases.

I am debating the fold vs flip. my trade in value seem to drop significantly if i go with flip.

I am in the same boat as I wanted to bundle it with the galaxy watch 4 but I just can't seem to justify the $1,500 plus price tag including tax and trade-in of my 10+ tbh. There has to be a better deal otherwise in all reality if I include the $625 trade-in value they are offering me I am looking at $2100+ in total.

FOLKS!!!
The Samsung website is really acting up like crazy.

When i first opened it, Note 10+ was $625 value for the first trade-in. For the second trade-in, the Note 10+ drops to $300. So the second trade-in is a rip.

I closed and then reopened the page and I get Note 10+ value as $300 for the first trade in (and same for the second)!! I thought I was seeing things.

I then opened up another tab and boom...it's back to $625. i don't understand it. i still have the tab with 300 as trade in and compared and there is no other difference. If you are seeing very low value, you may be seeing the second trade in value by mistake. Try opening it again. maybe try incognito or clearing cache??

Samsung deals are ALWAYS best at launch IF you are trading in.

I got my S21 for FREE (Samsung actually paid me $200).
Yup your right, they reduce the accessories credit in a couple of days

Damn, I might have to get this. Good to see my s21+ is getting more trade in value than normal s21. That's usually not the case for plus models.

I'm still pissed samsung took away samsung pay.
Yeah I had gotten the S21 regular for that reason

So what happened to the people who reserved? I thought we were getting a case for the S Pen in an email with special bonuses?
dang i use the $200 credit to order that case with S Pen, then I was wondering why the heck I saw two of that in my order!! It must be from the reservation email

Looking at the Flip, Best Buy seems to be a better deal right now with trade-in. They're advertising $799.99 for the unlocked Flip (256gb) with activation and estimate $450 trade-in value for an S20 FE. So that comes out to $349.99 plus tax.

Samsung will only give $300 for the S20 FE and that includes the $100 extra reservation credit. Total (with EDU discount) would be $662.49 plus tax. Now my Corporate Perks does show 30X WOW Points right now for Samsung mobile. So 30% cash back would bring it down to ~$463. And Samsung gives $100 towards accessories. So if you count that at full value, that's $363. So close to Best Buy, but still not as good.

I'm wondering how Samsung is calculating our taxes. If your subtotal is $871.24 and you pay $78, that is just around 8% in taxes. But my subtotal is $825 and I'm paying like $147 in taxes or 17% which is totally nuts.
Samsung is using the price before trade in to calculate the taxes. Yes, it sucks.
