Tab S7+ is $200. That is highway robbery.

Edit: I was looking at is as a second device trade in.

For the Fold3 are you guys buying the Samsung unlocked version of the phone or your carrier variant? I'm concerned if I buy the Samsung unlocked version it won't have all the T-Mobile carrier features like wifi calling/volte/TMO visual voicemail/etc. Or maybe once you stick in a T-Mobile SIM card into the Samsung unlocked version of the phone those features all show up?

Anyone know for sure? I don't want to buy the Samsung Unlocked Fold3 and then get screwed out of all the T-Mobile carrier features.

Definitely gonna have to see this phone in person before buying it, might be too big/heavy to use on a daily basis I wonder?
Yes please do check it in person. I changed my mind after seeing and holding it.

The Fold3 is way heavier than the S21 Ultra. Go to GSM arena to compare.
I have an unlocked one and unfortunately, it did not have all features for Verizon. I think with T-Mobile it may have similar problems.

So went to Bestbuy to check this phone out. It is heavy and feels/looks like a brick when closed. How are people planning to lug it around as a daily phone? I am deciding to hold off on purchasing this and keep my note 20 ultra.
That's my main concern with this form-factor. I have not seen one in person, but it's great that you decided to look at it in person before pulling the trigger just because it's a "good" deal. I don't understand how this is a phone and tablet. It's too think to be a phone and too small and expensive to be a tablet. It certainly is a step forward in foldable phone territory. You gotta start somewhere, right? But it still feels like beta or experimental to me, for some reason

Exactly and it is expensive. I also saw the MS duo phone... Not sure how MS released it. It looked like a tablet from 10 years ago

Until foldables can be razer thin, it's just too bulky for me. If samsung can manage to get the thickness down to like the surface duo that would be much better. Foldables is still in the early stages so I prefer to hold off for now and keep my note 20 ultra

But Samsung nailed it with the Flip. It's definitely nice and it looks like a finished product, finally!

I work for a carrier that is giving us employees a discount on Fold3 phone if we trade in an eligible phone. I have a Note20 5G that I got for free a year ago that I can trade in to get the 250GB Fold3 for $275 or 500GB model for $375. Seems like a pretty good deal but I'm definitely gonna hit up Best Buy to check out this phone first to see how it feels. Good deal doesn't mean anything if I hate the phone.

They need to bring back expandable storage!!! Hopefully S22 will have it. If not I gotta pass again and stick to my S20 Ultra
