T-mobile service is turning into Sprint's crap service. Has been continually declining as they keep adding cheap lines without any infrastructure to support this many customers.

Just some experience for those jumping on an account with strangers - I have this same setup right now with about 15 lines, most of which are people I do not know - we are paying $25 per line plus taxes each.
My experience:
1) I have to send a bill to everyone via email every month. It is tedious work, because not everyone pays the same thing. Some lines have phones they are paying for, others have extra services to pay for. Figuring out the amount for each one again is VERY tedious and it is not simply divided up per line for you. It is a SINGLE BILL for all lines - each line does not get its own bill !

2) Do not assume everyone will pay on time. Every line can login and pay once you tell them each month what they owe. However be aware that it is very likely that this business account will require an "AUTO-PAY" setup - which as the "owner" of the business account with 25+ lines, will mean that if anyone does NOT pay the account directly by a certain date, then T-Mobile will be hitting YOUR CREDIT CARD or BANK ACCOUNT for the outstanding debt. This happens to me almost every month and then I have to chase down those people to pay ME directly (via Zelle or Venmo) and not T-Mobile. it's a monthly hassle.

3) it gets even more hairy when some people with lines on your account want a new phone - you have to give them "admin" permission on the account and give them the account PIN number so they can go to the store and buy a phone. Yeah, not fun to put your full trust on a stranger with full privileges on your account.

I'm not saying its not worth it, after all I am still running my business account and am happy paying just $25 per month plus taxes - I'm just warning those as to what to expect when sharing a business account with strangers. its going to be monthly work for you.

Shockingly 911 operators don't work for free.
Shockingly, we don't have to pay a special tax on our phones for them either.

What happens if the owner gets bored one day and closes the entire account 1 day? Let's not even say bored. Fatal car accident, bankruptcy, something legit. Everyone would lose their numbers?
Yes, your number is at the mercy of the account holder. For something like this, port your # to Google Voice and use that as your main cell #. Calls/text to/from your GV number are forwarded to whatever cell # is assigned for the shared plan. It's not perfect as some authentication texts aren't compatible with GV (in which case you use the assigned cell #) but it's better than trusting some random stranger to maintain a business phone plan w/o messing up in any way.

Yeah, this should basically discourage anyone from wanting to be the line owner for me. I'm currently on an old plan with unlimited 9 lines at $140.

Best scenario, depending on your relatives, works be to go in this with extended family.

The full terms isn't even correct since it mentions max 6 lines and autopay discounts on lines 1-5. A few important things aren't mentioned, like will this $10/month plan be a grandfathered in price for those who signed up before the expiration, or will the price go up at some point. Also they mentioned that 25 lines is needed to activate, but no mentions that we needed to keep 25 lines. Will the discount exist if you drop below 25 lines after a few months?
Typically, these deals include a bucket of 25 active lines for that rate plan. If you turn off any lines, they will sit as an open slot for a line to be added whenever you need it. They are not charging $10 per line per se, rather a $250 bucket that includes up to 25 lines

That wasn't how the rep described it to me. It's more that each line activated is a special promo line, active for the duration of the line and the 25 minimum requirement is only to start. I gave him an example scenario and he confirms it. My scenario is that my "company" is going to sign up for 35 lines so it'll be $350 before taxes/fees. If we have end of year layoffs and drop down to just 20 lines, it'll be $200 before taxes/fees. If we rehire more people later on, the promo is over so each person added after Sept 31st is $25 per line. That's why I'm saying the account owner has very little to lose, especially if they request the money as prepaid. If someone doesn't pay on time, just drop them and your other lines are not affected.
