Pretty toxic yep, I've played for years and the community is definitely one of the worst in any game I've ever played. Constantly talking down to new players, team killing, voting people out for not doing everything perfect, or just no reason at all. It's just a cesspool, BUT it's a a fantastic game, and there's a lot of fun to be had if you do actually get a decent team.

Never played it and don't have a PS5 or XSX but will pick it up for $10 since I'll be getting a PS5 when they're finally available. Looks like it was on sale before for $15 so this isn't an amazing deal. Skipped yesterday's deal.

Meh, since squad RFF has been introduced the TKing has gone down a lot. Also they have hid player levels in the last update, so there's no way to know a player is new or not in Ranked, unless they are playing like a complete potato, which they shouldnt be doing in ranked anyway. I don't even think vote kick is a thing anymore either (but I don't play casual more than one or two games a month when im crunched for time and can just bail at any point).

Never played it before but saw a review that said it was similar to Counter Strike. Which I love. For $10 I grabbed it for local pickup.
