What device you usually read on?
If you can afford to just buy "x product" anyways then there is no point in wasting our limited time filling out surveys to benefit Google.

You can always wait until you're in the bathroom or something to answer them.
I've heard uninstalling and reinstalling can help. I also feel like they come flooding in every time you buy a new device and they slow down once you've had the same device for a long time. Just my anecdotal evidence.

Try to encourage your kids/nieces/nephews/students/whoever to read it in publication order. It won't ruin it if you don't but really, Wardrobe would be way less impressive if you didn't read it first.
