Imagine paying more than the cost of a latest gen console to have a giant bulky box that can only play a single game from 20-30 years ago (without modding)

I can easily imagine it. It's a cool thing to have in a custom gameroom. Now, I'd probably modify it to play more than just this one game, but I definitely want an arcade cabinet when my gameroom is finished.

I don't have a problem with Arcade1up for <$200, but at this price you might as well get a Legends Ultimate Arcade ($500). It's full-size (height-wise) and has a wider variety of control types, and higher-quality components.
The only drawback is that it has two sets of controllers, not four.
Can you buy a 4 player cabinet for less than this and build your own machine?
I think this is geared more towards older gamers who probably played this in arcades and want to enjoy that nostalgic experience with their kids/family without having to go do some research, buy a bunch of tools and parts to put one together. If you have all that already.. nice.

Don't get me wrong, this is the best price, but it's the Walmart retail price, not a sale.
