From what I have read my EVGA PSU works fine with simulated sine wave.

this is a good deal (and i just bought), but be aware this model has a high failure rate, sometimes w/ smoke.

This is why I just bought it with Amazon Prime.
Newegg was a little cheaper, $10 promo gift card and no sales tax, but the Amazon Prime easy return policy won out in the end, vs Newegg's "non-returnable and non-refundable" policy.

Another $140 option for some, newer, better features, and if they must have true sine wave, but can get by with 1000va, for $10 more ($150 - $10 off w/ promo code APCRPJWZM38). Still non-returnable/refundable.

i'm buying it to replace this exact model, which did die on me from the F-XX error (after something like 4-5 years) 2 weeks ago. so it did last me a decent while at least, even if somewhat disappointing.
