Roku is much better than a Firestick. We've had 2 and both were laggy, stuttering crap.

I agree I'll also add the fact that the Roku has way better lay out and let you just choose exactly which app you want. Firestick really pushes Amazon content and then buries everything else further down in section.

I have a roku ultra that supports ethernet, anyone know if these allow for the use of an ethernet adapter? I saw one review mention it, but didn't give details.

Because Hulu streams just fine on 3 Roku TVs and a Roku Ultra, but refuses to load anything live or on demand on my Firestick. I've cleared the data/cache & even factory reset the Firestick and it refuses to work.

If you have an exisiting Roku check the offers section as the roku 4k+ was going for $25 (1 per person) via an offer. Picked it up for tv in my exercise room and have been very happy with it. It's very responsive and as mentioned above you CAN use a usb ethernet adapter with it if you need to. I picked up a cheap $12 adapter that takes hdmi and gives you hdmi + toslink so I could split the audio off to my older soundbar...ARC control seems to still work fine via this method as my roku remote has no issues turning tv on/off....I did pick up a cheap 4-in-1 remote to put tv, roku 4k+ and soundbar on so I could make the soundbar global for volume control. (I didn't wanna hunt for the right remote while walking on treadmill)

Amazon never letting you not know you are on Amazon, always in your face, reminds me of Verizon, comes to mind, the UI over Amazon, it's not Amazon?
