Previous deal thread flagged expired. I'm finding the Roku Express 4K+ (2021 version) alive on Amazon and Walmart for $29.00 - normally $39.99. So if you missed this last month, I'm seeing it back on for now.

I was quick to copy the previous deal thread title, but i'm seeing it for $29.00 even on Amazon / Walmart so $1 cheaper than last time around Smilie

Roku is much better than a Firestick. We've had 2 and both were laggy, stuttering crap.

I agree I'll also add the fact that the Roku has way better lay out and let you just choose exactly which app you want. Firestick really pushes Amazon content and then buries everything else further down in section.

I know this price seems good, but I made the mistake and bought this once. It is HORRIBLY slow to respond and it is IR not Blu-Tooth. Blu-Tooth is the way to go and spend the extra on an Ultra imo. These things last forever so it's an investment.

None of them are bluetooth...they are either IR or RF (Radio Frequency). This model has only been out since May so it's doubtful you are talking about the same model. Sure..they should just go from paying $30 to $70 for an ultra without even trying it to see if it suits their needs..that makes sense.


Oh and I'll admit my unit is getting pretty warm...not burn your hand warm but warmer then I would have expected....has not affected usability and since I just added wired ethernet it will be interesting to see if that generates less heat.

Does not require line of sight for remote to work. So yes, you can tape the roku to the back of your TV.
