No. These games play on both systems. There is literally no difference between the OLED vs the regular outside of the screen

I don't think so. Or if so not by very much. I believe in instances like this in the past Nintendo would typically try to make sure the old unit was only marginally cheaper than the new unit. So it not only kepts the value of the units high, (as they do with their exclusive titles) but incentives people to spend a little more on a newer technology.

It's a super well crafted game and easily worth this if you like 2d platformers at all.
Not bloody likely. The OLED will sell for more ($349) and the original will maintain the status quo at $299. But to be honest, even with aggressive pricing at something like $249 isn't going to get many more people to buy (compared to the lost margins).
They basically shut down the 2DS and 3DS lines last year to make room to build more Switches. I think they're doing ok. Price drop is still a couple years off IMHO.
