I love their scan & go feature. I've had an elderly woman try to warn the employees that I did not pay for my items. I believe they explained it to her, but she gave me the dirtiest look when I waved at her in the parking lot.

For those that got your gift card did it come directly from Sam's or Walmart or a 3rd party?

I just got a $45 gift card that says Joe sent you a sams club gift card. But email address is the gift card shop, not Sam's or Walmart.

Didn't click on the link yet in case it's a scam.

I got the same e-mail from Joe. I went ahead and opened the link on the e-mail and all it wanted was my e-mail address that I had for Sams. It gave me a page with the e-gift card number and pin. I went to the Wal-Mart site and checked the gift card number and pin and it shows $45. It looks like it's legit but they could have done it better.

I received the same e-mail and got the gift card numbers. I went to Wal-Mart and it showed a $45 balance. Looks like it's legit but it looked odd at first

I was hesitant at first myself but it is legit. No idea who Joe is or why he's the one sending everyone the gift cards but I already used the gift card yesterday at Walmart.

Like others have said I just received an email saying that "Joe sent you a Sam's Club Gift Card!" I checked the email it was sent to and it matches the one I used to sign up for the offer. Glad I came here first to check this before opening up the email.

It looks like the expiration date for this link has been extended to October 31st now. Just wondering if anyone has signed up in the last few days through this link? There are a few other links floating around with different expiration dates but those links seem to say promo not found or something after entering all your info and pressing submit.

Looks like someone forgot to update the email template.

Another one who got the Joe email. I signed up toward the end of September. Thought it was a scam too. Not sure if its the same for everyone else, but the subject on my email is "Walmart sent you a gift!", the body refers to Joe, and says "Thanks for joining Sam's Club! Here's your $45 e-Gift Card." The redemption address is something like "giftcardcompany". Really weird
