I have the 6 person version of this tent. I have had it about 4 years, a few trips a year. Worth giving it a coat of waterproof spray once a season, but I have not had any issues with it.

Used one of these this year and it was really convenient to set up (maybe 5 mins max) and breakdown just the same. Had moderate rain and also had no issue.

Dang. Been looking for a dark tent but the Amazon link isn't available and the Walmart link isn't a "dark tent"

Durable tent, I have the grey/blue and used it several weekends this year, twice with significant rain/wind. It held up well and only had a small amount of leaking. It goes up and down quick and actually fits in the provided bag when tore down. Super dark and easy to sleep in late!

Keep in mind that the poles on instant tents like this are not replaceable. Since they have to fold for set up and packing they are the weak point of the system. Once they bend or break they can not be replaced (Unlike regular tents with replaceable poles) so the tent goes into the dumpster.

It's dark in color only, it does not have the "dark rest" technology, which is what keeps light out and insulates somewhat. The linked $149 is just a regular instant tent.

My wife and kids slept in the dark rest version of this last weekend. Would highly recommend. We have a 1 year old that was able to nap just fine in the middle of the day due to the darkness this tent provided. We also paid $199 a few weeks backs so not a deal, but just saying it was worth $200 IMO. We had a queen air mattress, a pack and play (for the 1 year old) and a kids cot for our two year old. Plus a heater and all of our luggage fit just fine, with room to move around. Easy set up, easy take down. You can open four of the top windows and still have the rainfly protect you, which we loved when it was raining and we had the heater running. Can't say enough good things for the price point.

6 person here 3 seasons in, the dark part is as advertised. Mine gets soaked after prolonged exposure to rain. Some water inside tent but I think it's the shape more than the brand, as I've had all my flat wall tents and all my friends while camping with flat wall have similar problems.

It does and I can recommend. I get an extra hour in tent so skip the 5:30-6:30 morning light. It may also help with keeping her out but I've never had that problem

I love this tent. I have the smaller ozark and needed a bigger one for the family. Sets up quick and huge interior. I ended up in a big rain storm while using this and the thing took heavy wind and rain all night. After that night I became a big believer in the quality of this brand.

I had the octagon version of this and I've used it 10 times in the past 2 years. Very sturdy but very easy to build.
