I tried to use my telepathic abilities to get next day delivery but it failed. Guess I'm not an "expert".

Still, looks like a decent deal, in for 1

Lots of comments say it lasts not more than 3 months. Are most of 5* reviews true?

Don't have this one, but from personal experience if you don't have the solar panels facing south (northern hemisphere), and out of shadows and obstructions, the batteries in them will die out prematurely. I have a few similar ones around my property and they have all been working fine, ranging from 1 year to 4 years old.

This is a very cheap price for the type of product you're getting....if it's good quality.

That's a big IF.
This brand/seller is constantly shilled by SD Staff,
so take this as more affiliate advertisement than discovered "deal".

I got suckered into buying a cheap solar motion light a couple weeks ago from a no name brand no name seller and just got finished with the hassle of returning them. given, totally different brand...but just voicing the gamble you take with these fly by night/generic/shilled products.

could end up being a great value, or could end up being waste of time. odds are on the latter

I like the looks and sound of advertisement. What I don't like is the number of consistent reviews with the same problem. "after few weeks problems". To many of these complaints for me"

Too many hit or miss reviews. When it comes to solar rechargeable units, I would go with a reputable company because low quality battery will definitely not last.

Have these going on 3 or 4 years now. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Not that bright.

I got these for $20 they go on sale every now and then. These are pretty bright I've had 3 around my property since nov 2019 and they're all still working although they turned yellow from the original white. The only complain I have with these is that the motion sensors isn't great it takes a few seconds to detect movement, but other than that they're great for 20 bucks. The deal came back up after my first purchase so I bought another 3 for backup.

That's probably due to the availability of light - it can be sunny, cloudy, or rainy. I have some cheap solar lights from Walmart and they behave just as you described, but they are still working after two years or so.

I got the same on late 2019 and it is good. Got it for 14.99 from Walmart. It is pretty bright and going string for the past one year or so.

I would recommend waiting for this since it goes for $20 every now and then.
