So, you want a Kindle Oasis at a Paperwhite price? I'd buy that but I'm not holding my breath. None of those features cost that much but those are premium features for their premium reader, not their mid-range reader. Maybe the Usb-c, though. Alot of people want to use wired headphones with this but can't.
I guess they don't have Bluetooth headphones for the audiobooks. I'd personally just use my phone as it's far more convenient for audiobooks. Alot of reviews on Amazon just complained about it. I also don't mind micro-usb as I don't care about fast charging for a device that's battery life is measured in weeks. To each their own.
Pretty much? None of those features should be that expensive to implement. The earlier (cheap) Kindles had physical buttons, and I preferred them to the touchscreen. USB-C is, again, almost the exact same price as Micro USB.
It's just annoying that features that would cost almost nothing to add are locked behind a device that's more than double the price.

Kobo can do that nicely and I'm just puzzled why the Kindle is such a pain.
