That 300 nits display is 45% NTSC or 60% sRGB by the way. 100% sRGB starts from the 400 nits panel.

From what I've seen, many ThinkPads configs have been consistently backordered by 2 months to 4+ months. I had planned on buying the X1 Extreme, but ended up getting a L5P instead because that particular deal shipped in 5-7 days.
