As far as moisture and humidity, I think you should be good. There shouldn't be enough moisture to accumulate and short any components out.
If it is sealed and covered, of course you would be good, but if it is only covered, I would go for a purpose built outdoor TV, mostly due to little critters loving the extra warmth that will come from the power supply and screen.

VA panel, most likely. A6G series are messed up, they have different panel types for different sizes of the same series.

I wouldn't use it outside. I've lived in south Florida and I can't imagine an outdoor device resisting corrosion for over a year or two. Even in a container.
You'd be better off getting a cheapo 80$ projector and just bringing it out to project on the house when you want to watch something.
