I got the 65" version of this model for my mother last Black Friday for $249. It's a decent TV for the money, however it is a bit quirky. Occasionally upon turning the TV on it just has a black screen and is unresponsive to the remote. It's fixed by simply unplugging and plugging back in, so I think I'm gonna get an Amazon smart plug for it so my mother can just reset it without having to futz around with the power cable

Wish there was 75" with Roku
Exactly. Android TV isn't nearly as good/ intuitive as Roku OS.

The Dongle is different, Native roku is the best. Everything works so much better nod

For example, input handling, between 10bit/8bit switching is a snap, 444 chroma works, setting sticks, no funny business, switching between 23/24/25/29/30/59/60hz ALL WORK PERFECTLY.

Color calibration works in all the modes, sticks. It doesn't pop in and out of 444 chroma, Roku doesn't require a long ass 20 button deep menu to change pc mode.

Brightness can be changed as the FIRST menu option, VERY VERY useful for PC.

Anyone know if this TV would survive outside in a covered patio with a cover on in South Florida? Or the humidity/dew at night kill this right away?

Good for an outdoor TV with a cover on it? Would be used at night
This TV is not designed for outdoor use. (Outdoor TVs are quite expensive.)
You might make it work but it would require a special enclosure. [kinytech.com]

How is Android TV that is built in? I've been using an Nvidia Shield that last couple years and love it but was wondering how it is built in. Just as snappy or will I end up using the Shield?

$600-800 for an outdoor enclosure..I'd rather keep buying $400-500 TV's and keep replacing them

Cover! [amazon.com]

Enclosure [amazon.com]!

A Cover is for outdoor TVs (SunBriteTV, Aurora, Peerless-AV, Samsung The Terrace, etc..) but it will do little to protect an indoor TV. Peace
