$139 after the hack with the Ryobi 1.5 battery. If you keep the free battery you pay $179. It's up to you.

I recommend waiting for the Milwaukee M12 Fuel /Brushed battery kit deals with the free tool options. You can Google JoetheToolGuy, Tool Boss, JeffOstroff, ToolHead, and other tool channels on YouTube. I can't post those deals until the links are active on Home Depot.

If you add the linked combo and a 1.5 Ah battery you get the battery for free. Title is kind of misleading because you're still spending $180, but you get 3x batteries.

You get the battery for free, but can then return the battery for a refund of $39 thereby reducing the overall cost.

This kit was $159 2 months ago when I bought it. Debating if it is worth the effort to get $20 back.

No. Its 39.06. If you add both to cart you can see their funky discounting in the cart.

I bought the same kit for my daughter and she loves it. I bought my son a Skil Drill driver to help around the house. The Skil Impact Driver has really good lighting and is pretty bright and lightweight but both Skil tools are underpowered compared to my DeWalt Xtreme Drill Driver / Impact Driver and Milwaukee my M12 Fuel Impact Driver and Hammerdrill. If you are using it for indoor use that is fine. I have all types of power tools and my favorite go-to is my 12volts tools the most. I have Skil power tools in the 20 volt and 12-volt lines. A 5-year warranty is not bad compared to Harbor Freight, Hart, Ryobi, Bosch, and other brands. Before I buy a new tool I check out several tool channels on YouTube and make a decision. Shop Tool Review, Torque Test Channel, Tool Boss, JoeTheToolGuy, JeffOstroff, VGC Constructions Project Pharm.

I have this set and think they're fantastic for the price. Some of Ryobi's tools are pretty sub-par(for example the circular saw from this same hp+ lineup is hot garbage) but these compact brushless drill/impact are probably the best bang for the buck on the market.

Would be an even more attractive deal if you took advantage of that tool + 2 4Ah batteries sale earlier this summer (which I didn't) as 1.5Ah doesn't last long.

Does anyone recall if that deal included a choice of a 1/4" or 3/8" impact wrench? I mean wrench, with a square male anvil, not driver with a hex female connector, the kind you use with standard impact sockets. I doubt it at that price, but just curious.

Interesting. Does this trick work with all Ryobi stuff at HD? Like the 40v electric mower, trimmers, blowers, etc?
