That said this is a hand tool that we reach for frequently in our household.
on sale price is around $9
best price i seen is around $7

these will cut insulation perfect every time, blade can be replace,
problem with IRWIN Wire Stripper 2078309:
you will whack your hand when the stubborn insulation let go
pulling stubborn insulation repeatedly is not fun.
problem with IRWIN Self Adjusting Wire Stripper 2078300:
this does not cut insulation around wire perfectly.
this cuts a little bit of insulation and then tear off the insulation,
which mangles the insulation.
problem with Ideal and Klein:
less wire gauge chooses on the blade
but the chooses available should cover all that you will need, most likely.
you can change the blades out for others that fits your needs, if needed.
