You are referring to the kits that was not hackable. You can keep the batteries or the free tool on this deal. I am working on the price difference with each free tool offered online at Home Depot.
Amazing deal! I already have the ones I want... Ratchet, impact, multi tool come up in combos pretty often but the circ saw and light don't usually have promos anywhere near this good

Hack it before they are gone. As soon as I get the prices per hack I will start buying my tool. lol
So I can just return the battery stuff and keep the tool? Sorry I am new to the tool deals
If you follow the instructions and set up your order properly, yes you can cancel the part of the order relating to the battery/kit and keep the tool at a prorated amount as outlined in the OP.
You have to follow steps which I'm sure someone else will describe (it's very simple) to be able to do so

Yes, that is correct. I recommend you review the other Milwaukee battery kit deal with the free bare tool. Milwaukee 4.0 and 2.0 battery and charger kit with the free bare tool.

I got the multi-tool and rotary tool in 2 separate transactions last year using the 2ah/4ah/charger hack.
BE WARNED, the M12 rotary tool sucks, avoid it like the plague. I'm already on my 3rd one and expect this one to fail any time now. My first one stopped spinning properly after using a brass wire wheel on some electrical terminals to clean the corrosion off. After using it for maybe 30m on & off it just stopped spinning properly and wouldn't' kick on anymore without blinking. Manually spinning it to help it works but any amount of load on the wheel makes it stall & blink again. This is apparently a very common issue with these POS. RMA'd it for a 2nd one.
2nd one I used more to cut some tile using a diamond rotary blade. After running down two batteries (a 2ah and 3ah) over the course of 3 days of working on the tile it no longer seems to recognize the charge level of my fresh batteries and just blinks like its out of charge. Received my 3rd one a couple weeks ago so we'll see how that goes.
The oscillating multi-tool has been fine for me so far and is quite convenient to have a cordless one. It does eat the batteries though.

It's a great deal if you are just getting into M12.
Personally, I've all the M12 that I need. (Until there's a 12v bolt cutter/threader lol.)
Thanks for the heads up!
