From the reviews I see that it's recommended that you get your own markers for it, I see a set of 20 on sale for $2 (from $4.97), and a set of 64 on sale for $19.97 (from $34.99) in case that helps anyone 🙃

Thank you for all this info!! Makes this even more tempting to get for my niece who turns 10 🙃
If you remember the Colorblaster that someone else mentioned, this is like it only modernized, there is no pumping which is great. I was surprised with how well this can handle window stencils and cake stencils. It's great for last minute decorating for parties also. If you are going to use one with food I would buy two separate units though.
Sorry, first time back on this app since my last comment, I believe these are what I saw earlier (had to re-search for them, the had simply shown up in the suggested before)...
The Walmart link & rest of the Internet both disagree with you.
Currently when i click the 20-pack link i see a product description and photo of the non-washable, but product details say washable. I would expect they would ship me non-washable if i ordered from the above link.
The sprayer can use Crayola Broad Line Markers and Crayola Window Markers (not the crystal effects ones). You can also use the Crayola Broadline fabric markers to airbrush onto t-shirts. We did this at a VBS program when this kit was regular price and the shirts came out awesome. Unfortunately I don't see those markers go on sale very often.
Other markers it's compatible with are the Silly Scents Stinky Broad Line Markers, Silly Scents Sweet and Stinky Broad Line Markers, Ultra Clean Washable Broad Line Markers, Broad Line Markers Classroom Packs, and the Multicultural Broad Line Markers.
The scented markers really let off a strong scent when you use them and it remains after you remove the marker from the sprayer so your future products will be scented also for awhile. It is easy to clean the sprayer with a mixture of 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water. The last color you used will partially stay in the sprayer if you don't clean it between colors.
You need to use new markers with it. Once the nibs start to flatten the ink just bubbles out of the end of the sprayer and makes a mess.
I forgot to mention that I also successfully used a new one of these to decorate cakes and cookies with some markers that I found on Amazon. Only the thick ends of the markers work, not the fine tips. https://www.amazon.com/Coloring-U...095X1LJB3/
So it won't take the generic store brand or other brands' markers? Having to buy crayola brand markers will get expensive real fast. I'm assuming this is a guzzler and the ink in the marker would dry out pretty fast.
