Maybe I'm not being clear. I'm not looking for a cooler/bluer light.
Here's the deal. Incandescent bulbs, with a CRI of 100, even when producing a warm "yellowish" light, are still outputting a wide array of "colors". It's a very natural, pleasing light. When cheap LED's like these are producing a warm white it is a "yellow" light, and is producing just that color...yellow. If you like that, great. I don't. Some LED's have a higher CRI and can output a realistic representation of an incandescent warm white. I still use incandescent string lights because I haven't found one that has a pleasing warm white incandescent light "color".

not a low voltage set though... might be a deal breaker for some
BTW, it is faster, less typing, and less waiting to just search "costco string lights"

Thanks!
Those are $50 at the moment. Not a slick deal at all. Why would these be the main comparison product?

Amusing and sad.

Personally, I'd prefer buying from costco. Costco light is 2 ft apart compared to this 3ft apart. Costco light instore is 39.99 after 10 discount.
George Carlin once said " think how dumb the average person is and then realize half of the population is dumber than that". So yes, I think you are exactly correct
I wouldnt mind the yellowishness for $20. Hope they go on sale again soon. They would look real good on my deck.
