long-range? The last time I bought one of these, and it's not-so-long-range. my current Asus ac68 with 20-inch long antenna outperforms this range by A LOT. IMO any router with no physical antenna sticking out the range is weak.

I have two of Unifi 6 LRs. Nice access points, very stable WiFi. Downside is that it only has WiFi 6 for 5GHz. That means that 2.4GHz is 802.11n (WiFi 4). It is best option from Unifi for now and is a good choice if you need to buy today. Otherwise, wait for Wifi 6e option from the company.

Do you have yours mounted from the ceiling?

Generally speaking you want more short range APs, not fewer long range APs. These LRs are for a very narrow set of applications and I have a feeling a lot of people who don't know what they're doing buy these thinking they'll provide better performance.

No Multi-gig port. Tops out at 1gbps so defeats the purpose of WiFi 6. Try the EnGenius EWS377AP, 2.5gbps for those with fiber or multi gig internet from your ISP

Two lites.

I went the 1 LR route for a 1200 sq ft drywall house. I placed it in the middle on the ceiling. 5ghz coverage is weak at the edges and the LR model has problems with 2.4ghz in general. My AC Pro can get 200mbit 20mhz 15 feet away. The LR can only get to 60mbit on 20mhz 5 feet away. Same channel. Same setup. Such a joke.

The Lite is a more stable access point. I just installed one in my garage and will be going back to replace the one LR in the house with two lites, one at the front and one at the back.

Thanks for the details! I have a single AC Pro in the center of my 1500sqft ranch, dome up, sitting between floors on a support between floor joists. My 5ghz coverage is also weak at the edges so I've been considering a U6 device. Maybe I'll find another AC Pro instead.
