I was able to use Venmo for this offer. I was able save the offer in my PayPal app, I can't locate it now. Where is it store within the app?

The store clerk forgot to activate my Amazon gift card and I left the store. Couldn't add it to my account. I went back to the store and she told me she couldn't do anything about it.

Sent it up to Amazon. They're looking into it.
You just walked out of the store with the unactivated card and no receipt?

If the receipt says it's activated, the clerk didn't "forget" to activate it.

For Paypal, you need to log into the website to see the offer in your 'wallet'.

That was my thought too.

Ugh!
When you try to redeem it online are you using the gift card number and not the Claim Code? This is sometimes a common mistake people make with the Amazon GC. The Claim Code requires you to scratch off the gray bar first.

I did use the claim number off the silver scratch. I even sent it up to Amazon for them to confirm that it wasn't activated by the store.

It has been mentioned a few times that at self checkout - do not select any payment type and just scan your QR code. If you selected paypal/venmo as payment type, it will fail. I bought Target gift card.
So you scan all your items, then you just scan your PayPal barcode ? You never push any buttons to say you're ready to pay?

Tried PayPal at self checkout but didn't work. Does it need $5 balance to cover a $24 gc or will the $5 get charged to a linked CC?
