The offer is valid from 6-7-2021 to 9-10-2021 and only to the first 50,000 people. They don't give you the discount right at the cash register... they give you a $20 credit at some point in the future *if* you are the first 50,000. So it's impossible to know if you are going to get the $20 or not. Back when they had the $10 back on a $20 transaction, I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the $10 from PayPal. I advise you to steer clear of this one; PayPal doesn't have the best reputation at fulfilling promotions like this.
The store clerk forgot to activate my Amazon gift card and I left the store. Couldn't add it to my account. I went back to the store and she told me she couldn't do anything about it.
Sent it up to Amazon. They're looking into it.
You just walked out of the store with the unactivated card and no receipt?
If the receipt says it's activated, the clerk didn't "forget" to activate it.
When you try to redeem it online are you using the gift card number and not the Claim Code? This is sometimes a common mistake people make with the Amazon GC. The Claim Code requires you to scratch off the gray bar first.

I did use the claim number off the silver scratch. I even sent it up to Amazon for them to confirm that it wasn't activated by the store.
It has been mentioned a few times that at self checkout - do not select any payment type and just scan your QR code. If you selected paypal/venmo as payment type, it will fail. I bought Target gift card.
So you scan all your items, then you just scan your PayPal barcode ? You never push any buttons to say you're ready to pay?
Great deal! Bought 3 $25 amazon gift card with 2 PayPal accounts and 1 Venmo. Payed $15 but got 2x$10 on Paypal so in total got $80 for free ! Couldn't get another CVS offer on another Venmo account today probably
