Worth a shot to log in to your Discover card account and "chat" a rep. Four months ago, I came off a 12 month 0% APR on purchases and just got it again by asking. Of course TWO months ago I asked if there were any special APR rates and was told "no." Last chat was this:
Me: "Good morning, I was wondering if there were any special offers available on my card"
Rep: "Was there anything in particular you were looking for?"
Me: "Special APR for purchases or anything interesting?"
Rep: "I show you are eligible for 0% APR for the next 12 months, would you like me to apply that to your account?"
Me: Sure, thanks!

sorry but you are repeated the popular dishonest method from years ago that has long since been outlawed or disallowed. absolutely i agree with what you are saying....if this were 1995. if you borrow $10,000 on day one and on day 365 if you had an outstanding balance of $2 then on day 366 you would see a finance charge of 20% or $2,000 (or more) added so you would now owe $2,002 since you didn't pay off the entire day one balance by day 365 per the "default" terms. finance charges have been accruing and "deferred" since day one and the only way to wipe it away is to have a balance of $0 or less on day 365. it's 2021 and that is now "illegal" please get up to speed on the terms. tu

Dang, I couldnt do that I have a promo on mine since may with a 8% vs the joke 20% junk, too bad couldnt have the better one, but thanks for the posting, great way to help people! Unless you have the ones who spend foolish Smilie

if I weren't already using two other cards that currently have 0% APR for another 5 months or so, I'd be in on this now. Maybe at that time I'll consider this option. Thanks for the information
