Worth a shot to log in to your Discover card account and "chat" a rep. Four months ago, I came off a 12 month 0% APR on purchases and just got it again by asking. Of course TWO months ago I asked if there were any special APR rates and was told "no." Last chat was this:
Me: "Good morning, I was wondering if there were any special offers available on my card"
Rep: "Was there anything in particular you were looking for?"
Me: "Special APR for purchases or anything interesting?"
Rep: "I show you are eligible for 0% APR for the next 12 months, would you like me to apply that to your account?"
Me: Sure, thanks!

I didn't have luck with this but had just recently balance transferred to discover and only paid 2 minimum payments on it thus far…. Fwiw

Thanks! Oddly the rep first offered me a 16% rates and I was sad and asked about a potential 0% offer and the rep said would you like to hear about that offer? Why wouldn't you offer me that first when it's an option?!

if i call them and ask, its going to only apply for future purchases or can it be applied for last week purchase? My billing is 3 weeks from now.

I pay off my Discover every month for 25 years I never leave a balance. I want to preorder an ebike that's back ordered on a waiting 8+ weeks before ship they do bill your credit card for the full amount after ordering before it even ships I don't want to pay for the bike on my Discover in full before I actually receive the bike. Would this be good for that situation?

Got offered 0.9% and then 0% when I asked if they could offer anything better. I guess they are trained to always go for the higher offer first and see if you'll bite.

Yup, you would only owe the minimum each month with no interest accruing.
