A work light which wont handle rain is not very useful.

IP4 is only good for a splash of water, not rain. Maybe o.k. if you get it out of the rain right after it starts to drizzle. That's why most lights which claim "waterproof" are in the sixes.

x1 and x2 are for rain (vertical and +/-15 degrees)
x3 and x4 are for both water spray (hose) and water splashes (pool splash, etc). from all directions
x5 and x6 are directed, pressurized jets of water, and
x7 and x8 are full immersion.

"The ratings widely accepted as 'waterproof' for most general purposes are IP65, IP66 and IP67. However, one common misconception regarding weatherproofing is that items intended for prolonged outdoor use require the highest numerical IP ratings for moisture resistance."https://uk.rs-online.com/web/gene...ip-ratings
I have actually been on the market looking for a work light. They only sellers who advertise "waterproof" are at IP6 and up. The IP4 sellers all say it is only water resistant and must be brought in right away after first drizzle.
Go to Amazon and look around. This light is substandard in the current Amazon market.

Not sure if it is from the same company but mine looks similar to this one but a light smaller and bought from Amazon
According to Amazon: Date First Available September 30, 2019
So it definitely wasn't this one. Eight years ago, these were not so available in LED.
I assume you are either the OP, or connected to them. Something doesn't sound right. If you bought something similar 8 years ago, you could have easily looked up your order and seen it is not the same product. So why would you comment, thereby misleading others?!?
