heads up
These plastic chocks "expire" after a few years.
They usually have an expiration date printed on the plastic.
The material gets brittle and unsafe.

Hmm I should probably scour my rhino ramps for expiration dates in that case?!

meh - to each their own. If i'm crawling under a car that can move and kill me, i probably don't want to save a few bucks. I'm not expecting perfect, but certain don't need it rolling

If you are talking about crawling under a parked vehicle with these things... 20% non 5* are worth looking at... may be life savers

Nah, if they posted a review, that means they didn't die.

Just bought a set of these for $8 2 months ago. Guess I'm picking up another set because I'm a hoarder.

Perhaps not everyone will be lucky to post a review after something happens, lol... Just sayin

I have a set with the Rhino ramps that I bought a while ago. There is no way these plastic things so thin could keep a car from rolling back. Different thing to support it using plastic but don't these things need to grip the road to keep it from rolling? Always use your e-brake and if it's a manual push/pull it in as far as it can go.

Maybe. I think that the corporate lawyers put a lot of the warnings on the labels. It protects the company from any lawsuits, and gets people to buy more product. It's a win-win for corporations and the lawyers. Even stainless steel and diamonds should have expiration dates, if lawyers had their way.
I had some past their expiration and they cracked and started to compress. Granted they were a couple years past expiration and in direct sun daily. Like anything used for safety you need to keep an eye on it and verify it's in good shape before depending on it.

Do these have enough weight to stay in place?
