LG 27GN800-b all the way. It's a much better panel, supporting 10bit color versus the Acer which seems to be 8bit. LG has constant firmware updates to better improve their products, and I prefer their panels in the IPS category. Beautiful displays, and typically a bit brighter than their competition.

Not really worth the money just for office worth. This is overkill. That being said, it's an awesome monitor.

I have the older 144hz model of this which I've been using for work and gaming. I paid 300 for it when monitors were harder to find in stock a few months ago. I'd definitely recommend for this price especially with the positive review from rtings.

Question for all the smart techies. Would I get benefit running my PS5 on this monitor instead of my 4K (simulated 120Hz) TV? It doesn't have HDMI 2.1, that is what is needed to get my PS5 to run at 120Hz right?

well, it's not a 4k monitor so it'd run at 1080p 120hz

Yes, you will probably be able to run PS5 at 1440p at 120hz with this monitor. Make sure your HDMI cable is fairly recent and supports HDMI 2.0.

This display isn't what you want. Because it's 1440p and doesn't allow for 1:1 pixel matching, it's going to be a jagged looking experience.

The poster is incorrect regarding the Acer. I have the monitor, the Acer is also 10 bits.

Got this for 250 around prime day. Well worth it. Not many reviews on this model because basically Acer sells like 4 different versions of this panel with the highest quality hitting something like 240hz and they sell those for around 700 use.

This is the lowest end model and I'm ok with that. The picture still looks great.

The main thing that made me make the jump is also the built-in 4-port usb 3.0 hub and full tilit/pivot stand. Lots of value in this guy as your main monitor. Only the most hardcore fps gamers will notice the higher framerates on higher end monitors.

Not showing up as $280 for me, instead showing $349.
