Pretty sure these are locked to boost for 12 mo but still a decent price for the 12 pro max if you're a Boost customer.

Look at the attached screenshot for comparison of price with different carriers
based on what you buy and what you are trading it for.
(the screen shot shows new iphone 13 pro max price for trading iphone 12 pro max)
but the comparison chart shows reflects that same price ,
if iphone 12 pro max is traded in for iphone 13 pro max,
check the attached screenshot on that post.
unless the apple.com site has discrepancy on different pages.
so it would be +$200 to get unlocked brand new instead of Rsim way.
if you are sprint, even on new Tmobile sim, the IEMI tie up to sim, doesnt allow these RSIM unlocked phones to be activated. So unlocked phones in walmart may be better for some for additional $200.
I'm in the same boat.
It's strange to have such an expensive phone on a cheap plan. Also, people seem to like the standard pro more although I don't think I'd mind the large size
